Samsung Galaxy Ace 3g and Gmail problem

Hi to you all, I recently purchased a samsung galaxy ace and I have snyc problems with Gmail via 3G connection...

I can sync my gmail via wifi without a problem but when I switch to 3G, the sync process does not work, I can access web sites via 3G but gmail access just halts... The same thing happens with Facebook too, I use the factory settings, since I recenty bought the mobile phone I didn't update anything...

Hi I had the same problem,

went to Settings-> Wirells and Networks-> Mobile Networks-> Access Point Names

There were 3 possibilieties> Wap, Internet and MMS and had to change from Wap to Internet.

Then gmail and gtalk started working properly
