Smartphone suggestion please

Hello, im new to Tom's.
I might be a PC enthusiast but dont have enough knowledge to give myself a answer.
I never have any smartphones or PDA before but worked with 'em specially iPhone.
long story short; I love iPhone and other smartphones dont attract me much, just save money for awhile and wanted to buy a 4S
4G/LTE doesn't matter to me because of my location but battery problem I heard about 4S is really matters of course.
Please help me choose my first smartphone

Thanks for sharing your valuable suggestion, if you want to give really a good surprise, Look at HTC phones with the Android Mobile system. Different carriers have different models.
