Good website w/ FREE iPhone apps?

my fam just got an iPhone and I never worked with it before. a friend of mine had some cool apps that he said he got for free but he went MIA and i didnt ask him where he got it from. one app for example, was google something. it was a google map where it finds every single gas station with price. where do i get free cool apps like that for iPhones? thanks

i got 3G btw, if that matters.

Go to the app store, I do think that you can find what is free in there. I know in the Android store you can show only the free applications.

Just do a search for any applications form Google.
