Spyware is a huge issue. But is it possible that my Jornada 720 can
get infected with spyware? My machine at work got blasted, and it was
fixed recently, but boy oh boy what a hassle. My laptop has also been
blasted with spyware, and fixed.

To date, I don't believe spyware can infect a Pocket PC. However, since
there are alot of cookies that are considered spyware, a periodic check and
deletion of known spyware cookies on your PPC wouldn't be a bad idea!

I too have been blasted a couple times during the past three weeks. Here
are some tips for removing spyware from your PC:

1. If you know you've been attacked, don't reboot into normal mode until
you've disinfected your machine!! For many folks, their first intuition is
to reboot! Instead, reboot into safe mode, run a scan, reboot into safe mode
again, and run another scan until no traces are detected.
2. Use three separate spyware removal utilities. It has been my experience
that one will detect traces that the other does not. I currently use
SpySweeper 3.0, AdAware Pro, and Spybot 1.3. Keep your definitions up to
date!!
3. Keep an eye on what's loading up with windows. Spyware loves to hide in
the Run keys of the registry. To manage this, I recommend a great freeware
utility called Startup Inspector for Windows. It is availible @
http://www.windowsstartup.com This is a "must have" on my utility list!
