Hi there,

I am looking for a decent new laptop.

I have a budget of around £400.00 but would go to a maximum £450.00 if absolutely necessary.

Requirements are:

Sandybridge I3 processor
500GB HDD
15" Screen
Good battery life
Windows 7 64-bit
4GB RAM

In terms of brands, I like Toshiba Satellite and Samsung models.

I would be really grateful for your advice on what to get.

I have so far come accross these that seem to fit the bill:

I like the look of the Samsung but I have read from a few reviews that the screen is not particularly good in bright lights - bit of a glossy screen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much.

That's true of any glossy screen, not just the Samsung.
Those 3 you listed are close enough in performance you can take the least expensive or the one you like the best.
