I was waiting until the new XPS was released today. However to get a model with at least a "NVIDIA 640M Graphics Card" would set me back £1199.

How would that laptop compare to the "Lenovo Ideapad Y580"? For £999 I could get a Nvidia 660m 2GB, 1TB hard drive, blu-ray combo and a i7-3610QM.

Does anyone have any other recommendations? I would prefer something that is a bit lighter than the "Y580" like the "HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 Quad Edition" but that hasn't been released in the UK.
