i was able to unlock mga 6800LE

to 12p 5v (stock has 8p 4v)

my question is this...

if i clock it to 300mhz/700mhz (core/mem)

would it be better than 6600GT that is clocked at

500mhz/1100mhz

to sum it up:

which is better

6800LE (unlocked to 12p 4v) 300/700

vs

6600GT 500mhz/1100mhz

help me out pls =) tnx

The unlocked 6800le should win most if not all tests. Question; why is your core so low? 6600LE's are usually 325mHz, and 6800's usually 325-350MHz. AT 300/700, a 6600GT may keep up well at certain settings.

the stock speed is really low - its and inno3d 6800LE...
however i can overclock it to 368 without any artifacts...

the memory is sucks though... it tops @ 710mhz... 10mhz overclock..

i was planning to take the 6800LE back to get a 6600GT, but if you guys do insist that 6800LE with 12 pipes will be better than 6600GT, even if the 6600Gt is overclocked, i'll stick with this 6800LE

if i have a 300mhz 12pipe 6800LE, at what clock speed should be the 6600GT for it to keep up...

300mhz 12 pipes, is it like 450mhz with 8 pipes...or do they really have other differences

300:450 <---> 2:3 ratio there in terms of performance

how does a 1100mhz 128bit memory compare to a 700mhz 256bit memory.

does 256bit memory mean more bandwidth literally, that for a 128bit to be able to keep up with 256 bit, it needs to run at twice the speed
