Don't mess around with your card, in case it succeed the it's good, but what happened if it failed and broke the card?
You have a good card, there, buddy... :)

I have a black PCB PNY XLR8 GTX 465 and have been reading that every single one of the black PCB one's can be fully unlocked to a GTX 470. I was just wondering if someone could please point me into the right direction of what I need to download and some tutorials would be nice and I have an antec 900 case so heat shouldn't be much of an issue. Thanks for all your help it's very appreciated.

No, it sounds like you can flash the BIOS and it becomes a full 470. Sort of like a core disabled AMD Processor. However, I doubt it is really guaranteed, and if something goes wrong, the card could end up a brick (or at best require a blind flash of the old bios).

This thread at Overclock.net deals with the MSI GTX 465 Twin Frozr Golden Edition, but the various resource links in the first post apply to any GTX 465 that has 10 memory chips (and "may" be unlockable). Take your time, read the various unlocking guides and try to have an old PCI graphics card around so if you brick the GTX 465 you can see what you're doing to flash it back (always make a copy of your stock BIOS).
