Unlocker MB for athlon II x2 250

Hello guys,

I'm trying to build an HTPC and was looking for a nice motherboard than can unlock the Athlon II x2 250. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Unfortunately the Athlon II X2 Regors are true dual cores, meaning that they don't have two locked cores, unlike the Athlon II X3, Phenom II X2 and Phenom II X3. If you do choose another 'unlockable' processor, you'd need a motherboard with the AMD southbridges SB710 or SB750. Otherwise you would need a motherboard which can just unlock cores, like how some ASUS 890GX and FX chipset boards have Core Unlocker.
