The GA-MA785GT-UD3H (rev. 1.0/1.1) http://www.gigabyte.us/search/search.aspx?kw=MA785GT_UD3H does support the Phenom II X6 1055T {6-core}. Here's a full list {1.1} of supported CPUs - http://www.gigabyte.us/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=3291 ALL cores will be supported on that list.

The extra cores won't offer much for gaming, AMD vs Intel is "flavor of ice-cream" question; I prefer "now" i7. And a question of budget. For gaming a quad-core is sufficient and take the savings and get a better GPU.

well i want to use the new system for applications Like Flash , after effect ,photo shop

so I'm with two options get this board with an 550 Phenom and open it's locked cores

or to squeeze my self and cut on the graphic card and get the 1055t

the second thing should i get an i5 vs the 1055t will it be better for my work
i know it will cost me more cuz the intel Mobos are much more expensive

i was thinking for the GPU 4670 from ATI with the x6
or the 5770 with the 550

thanx for the replay

the board and the CPU must be around 250 $ intel based
and the gpu around 100 $
