Is the GIGABYTE GA-78LMT capable of unlocking the 4th core on the AMD Athlon II X3 445

Was wondering since i had seen these two for a cheap price

Solution
That board almost definitely can, but not all of the Athlon II and Phenom II CPUs can unlock their locked cores and cache because sometimes, parts are locked because they are faulty. Assuming that it works, you'd probably be better off not using the stock cooler anyway because it wasn't intended to be used with all four cores enabled. You'd be better off with even a decent $15-25 after-market CPU cooler such as the Cooler Master TX3 or the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus.
