Hi,

I have one motherboard A7V who run with Athlon 800. I have 1.85 voltage to motherboard and i can only set by the bios the multipliers to 8.0. The bus run a 125Mhz. The total is 1000Mhz The pc run very good. But i would like unlocked the multiplier on the motherboard.

I already tested to set the multiplier to example : 9.0 and when i reboot the system is 800Mhz. So can you help me please to unlock the multiplier on A7V.

Question 2 - Is it good to add a transistor to motherboard to up the voltage to 2.32 ?

Sorry for my bad english because i speak french. :)

you probably need to unlock the chip by closing the l1 jumpers. also the 1.85v should be enough for minor overclocking. adding anything to your motherboard will void your warranty and really isn't worth it unless you are just determined to try for 1.5 ghz.

who is more foolish...
the fool, or the fool that takes his advice?
