Unlock Athlon XP

Hi,

I'm using the Soltek 75DRV2 onboard jumper for the Frequecy Ratio Select. The Athlon XP 1800+ I bridged all five of L1 with conductive compound. Set my Processor Core voltage to 1.85v I can get 1.59, & 1.67 Ghz. It rauns rough at 1.67 Ghz's.

When I set the Bus ratio detect to auto it still detects a Athlon 1800 + or 1.53 Ghz.

How can I find out if the Athlon CPU is really unlocked???

You should try to change the multiplier (CPU ratio). If you can change the multiplier, then it´s unlocked. The bus ratio has nothing to do with the L1 bridges, you have to change the CPU multiplier.
