Which one is better? 128-bit or 256-bit? I also notice that they appear to be downgraded versions of the 6600 series...can I use RivaTuner to unlock the four pipelines?

I've got a Dell Dimension 8200
Pentium 4 2.0GHz (0.13 Northwood)
GeForce4 MX420 64MB AGP
SAMSUNG 512MB PC800 RDRAM
250w PSU which is actually 350w...and one PSU fan, and another that takes the air and dust out of the processor's heatsink...

How much of a risk am I at for unlocking those four pipelines?

I'm rethinking it now because I've heard that newer 6200 AGPs are shipping with NV44's instead of NV43s. Not to mention I can't seem to find definite answers to whether it will work or not. I'll be getting the card a little later and I'll be getting either a 6600, GT, or if I can, 6800.

Get the 6800 - unlock it's pipes/vertex shader. Overclock to 350Mhz (from its standard 325) and waa laa = 6800GT Core.
