Solved! Won’t go past initial set up

I bought this tablet for Christmas and got an activation code which I put in to start up it said installing system update required so we hit install and it’s been installing over 24 hours now. I just want the silly thing to turn on and work

Contact the place you got it from or vendor support. If it's some cheap Nextbook, RCA, etc.. thing, just return it and get a better quality model.
