Solved! Dual USB Charger/Data Cable

Hi everybody, I play a lot on my phone with a USB wired gamepad using a Type-C to microusb cable, the problem is that my phone discharges pretty fast because is powering the gamepad, I found a couple of OTG Host Adapters with power to the USB device but if possible I want to charge my phone also

Is it feasible to connect the power wires of a USB charger (3000mA) to the power wires of the USB cable (somewhere in the middle) to power the gamepad and charge the phone at the same time? (of course without damaging any device)

You can try a wireless gamepad that uses it's own batteries instead. I have not tried any but there are several available. I don't see how you can splice in a charger to the cable properly without something bad happening.
