I need to put my pictures from my flip phone to my new Samsung galaxy J3V, How can I do this?

Support site for the phone is here, https/www.verizonwireless.com/support/gusto-3/ along with the user manual. You will probably need to install USB drivers for it on a computer and copy the files that way.

There is a note on the Verizon support page about the Gusto though, so you may be out of luck, unless you can email yourself the files
