How do i fix open seam in corner of Yoga Tab 3?

I've been gifted a Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 by a relative, the tablet itself is in like-new condition.

However, one big nitpick i have with my tablet is that a corner of it is torn open.

The power button and camera do work fine, it's just that this seam really bugs me. Since i just got this tablet, i'm trying not to use brute force on it, so i tried pushing the side then squeezing the bottom, didn't work. I tried squeezing the bottom first then pushing the side, also didn't work. There are some click sounds when i do this.

So i'm all out of options, even if i put a little force, it wont snap on. So is there a way for me to weld this corner back together without causing damage? Or is it stuck this way?

I have to say those images don't look much like the part is not together correctly. Some devices are like that. I see no way to resolve it, however, without having someone look at it and possibly replace the case. Which, unless you are totally worried about it, I wouldn't spend the funds.
