I can't believe that Illy is bucking the environmental trend /need to eliminate plastic coffee pods. I'll be avoiding this machine, no matter how good the espresso, until they provide customer fillable pods.

To be fair, you can ship the used pods back to Illy for them to recycle, but yes, I agree, consumer-fillable pods would be better.
