S8+ so volume

My S8+samsung has a very low volume, also people I ring say it is hard to hear me and very hard if on speaker. Is this similar on an S9 that I am considering.

A normal phone shouldn't have that problem. The volume should be more than enough, unless you talk low. Most phones have about the same volume level for the microphone. Only the sounds you hear really have the ability to go up or down.
