Try the headphones on another device first to make sure they are not the problem. Then, if they are still doing it, you need new headphones. If they don't do it on other devices, then go into the app you are using for listening to the music and check that apps "Settings" to make sure it is set to be in stereo. Another way to test them on that phone would be to have them plugged in and go into your phone's "Settings" and then "Sounds" and check your ringtones. They should come through as stereo when you play them. If it doesn't, then there may be a problem with the port. That you would have to take it to get fixed. Either through the manufacturer if it is under warranty, or a local tech.
