My cricket phone side by side with an att phone, press the send key to make a call, ATT gets right on, makes the call. My cricket phone: dialing,,, dialing,,,, dialing,,, timeout.. Oh Dear!! Press send,,, dialing, then gets on. :( :( :(

Other than throttled network access for both calls and data, cricket is tolerable. $40/mo with auto-pay (I think). So compared to the BS best of carriers article today at best of single plans at $70 (crazy) my $40 and crapy perf I suppose is a "good deal". LOL. Some day ATT will get their come-uppans!

samsung note 5 bought as ATT unlocked to avoild possilbe "secret sauce" on cricket vs Pixel LXE (recent) on ATT. In 2-3 bars. Very repeatable during rush hour. Meaning ATT gives bias towards its own phones during congestion. Grrrr.

I've taken my phone in several times to make sure my "network" config was correct (on cricket).
