I have never owned one, but now I must have it.
It is for a very limited use, namely to communicate via the cloud with my home IP wireless security camera when I am away . Domestically, my provider is Redpocket mobile. Normally I use a flip phone, just for talk.
For travelling in Europe, I still have to figure out what to arrange.
This phone would be used for little else and only occassionally, but I really have no clue what features to look for.

Probably the Oukitel K6000, https://m.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_349080.html?wid=4

Or the Robin Phone https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D9LVCAI/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1524325967&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Robin+Phone&dpPl=1&dpID=41RqxvXOsgL&ref=plSrch
Probably you could also use the Kyocera Duraforce https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B010TLVPDK/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1524326032&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=kyocera+duraforceThe
The vernee Thor https://m.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_343579.html?wid=11
Aside from the Blackview A7 https://m.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_780881.html?wid=11

Or the Xiaomi Redmi 5A https://m.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_1509274.html?wid=4

Aside from some personal Favorites from LeEco: Cool1https://m.banggood.com/LeEco-Cool1-dual-4060mAh-5_5-Inch-4GB-RAM-32GB-ROM-Snapdragon-652-Octa-Core-4G-Smartphone-p-1223931.html?rmmds=search , Le S3 https://m.banggood.com/LeTV-LeEco-Le-S3-X522-5_5-Inch-3GB-RAM-32GB-ROM-MSM8976-Snapdragon652-1_8GHz-Octa-Core-4G-Smartphone-p-1269560.html?rmmds=search , Le2 https://m.banggood.com/LeEco-LeTV-Le-2-X526-5_5-Inch-3GB-RAM-32GB-ROM-MSM8976-Snapdragon652-1_8GHz-Octa-Core-4G-Smartphone-p-1273817.html?rmmds=search, and, my current.mainly driver (which runs beautifully, albeit a little over your budget) Le Pro 3 Elite https://m.banggood.com/LeTV-Leeco-Le-Pro3-Elite-5_5-inch-4GB-RAM-32GB-ROM-Snapdragon-820-Quad-core-4G-Smartphone-p-1162406.html?rmmds=search.

Good luck in Europe!

Thank you, kintarusk. That's quite a bunch of choices, which will take some time to consider. I am curious about the criteria you have used to make these picks. I can see the price was one, but what about the technical ones?

Well, aside from the Kyocera Duraforce (for it is a rugged phone from 2014), they all should provide good to excellent performance. As I have aforementioned, my personal favorites would be the Le Eco devices, of which the.only downside, in my opinion, would be the long shipping time of 20-25 days with free shipping (or around 12-15 with paid, which is about $20). They provide powerful specs, aside from a good battery life. For the price, there are probably no better phones. Yet, if you are in a hurry, I would then recommend.you to go for the Robin Phone from Amazon.
