If one requests a battery replacement at the end of the year and the demand is so great that your appointment is pushed to next year, would Apple honor the $29 replacement or does the replacement need to be done prior to the end of the year? One could imagine trying to delay battery replacement to the end of the year to have the phone life last longer (especially for the current generation of phones).
