LG k10 wont turn on

My moms K10 gets down to in the 30's percent her k10 will shut off. She says that it will not come back on when the power button is pushed, but I have found that if I pull the battery and put it back in after about 10 seconds it comes back on. Is anyone else having this issue and know what is going on with the phone?

Sounds like it needs a new battery.
