The only internet I know of that you can use your connections away from home with is through Comcast, and you aren't really using your own internet when you do it. You are using other connections, but only able to do so if you are a current internet customer. If you have Comcast (also now called Xfinity), then there is info on their site about using their hotspots here... https/www.xfinity.com/hub/internet/internet-on-the-go
