Solved! samsung galaxy s3 non broken display is not working but toouch is working

display is not working but touch is working

If you can't see, but the touch is working, then it isn't disconnected, but could be a loose connection. Or, the display is, touch or no touch, in need of replacing.

If it is under warranty still, you may want to try the manufacturer (even though it was dropped) or if not, then try a local tech.
