how to charge my alcatel if the light is blinking

I have an Alcatel and at first, it charged but now my phone died and I tried to charge it but instead of the light being steady and not flashing, it started flashing. it has been doing that for a few days and I don't know what to do. Someone, please help.

feel your device. is it cold? if it is, then plugs the phone in with the battery, and put it somewhere where it can absorb body heat. (i know I posted this but I found the answer) after a while, your device won't be cold and the light won't be flashing.
