How to wipe the entire hard disk and automatically shutdown the PC.

Hi,

is there a free program that will wipe the entire hard disk and then auto shut down the PC? I would use DBAN but it doesn't shut down the PC.

You'd have to use a boot disk with an autoexec file that run DBAN, then when that is complete, send a shutdown command to the PC. I don't think I have seen a disk wipe utility where you can tell it to shutdown after it's done.
