Hey there, everyone!

Is it just us, or is 2017 a particularly good year for tech? With the gift-giving season soon upon us, the Tom's Guide team has reviewed hundreds of products this year to help members like you find the best tech for your needs. And now…it's your turn to tell us what you think is the best gift to buy!

We're introducing our Community Best Value Ranker! This allows you, our dear members, to vote on your favorite products and let us know what you think is the best tech for the money. Your input is part of the first annual Tom's Guide Best Tech Value awards, in which our editorial team gives out awards to products that they think deliver the most bang for the buck. This is your chance to do the same!

So we ask you, what's the best product for your money?
If you have suggestions that are not on this list, let us know in the thread!

Us gamers are a picky lot.
Gift Certificates are the obvious lame answer. Especially from Steam.

After that I would suggest a wireless Xbox One controller.
Everybody can use a second one and the one they have may be old (Xbox 360), wired and or dirty.

Dell Inspiron 15 7559? That is a value proposition that provides an overall good value for gaming. Only typical sensationalist tech websites recommend the ORIGIN EON laptop when the Inspiron 15 7559 provides only some 10 frames less than a laptop only $200 more. HyperX Cloud gaming headsets? Awful when you can get a Phillips SHP9500S for $55 and a cheap mic for $10-20 which provides a much better audio experience. Why pay for a $40 Logitech mice when the $25 Roccat Lua is a decent gaming experience.
