Just bought and won't load up?

Just bought a affordable RCA Voyager 3 Model RCT 6973 W 43
And upon breaking it out of the package instructions stated that you plug it in as I did so the unit charged and upon fully charged I press the on button the screen has been saying Voyager 3 for over 5 hours now and no start-up screen has initiated I decided to refer to the instructions and stated that there is a reset button I click that a few times and still just a voyager 3 screen with no load up is this item garbage did I get screwed?

If it isn't working correctly and you just bought. Return it and have them exchange it for another one.
