I'm still using the old Verizon grandfathered unlimited plan, because I have been thinking that they may raise the prices if/when they offer 5G.

The idea is I may get a better deal if I keep my old plan.

Does this make sense or not?

Not really sure what you are asking here, if you are still using your old plan and are happy with the price you are paying for the service, what is the question here? There is no way to know what changes they will make for 5G service right now.

That's the question. Just looking for opinions. Does anybody think it's a good bet to hold on to the old grandfathered contract plan,. ..
Or is it a bad idea.
All the new plans are no contract. It would be easy for them to raise the prices for 5G and then offer new contracts.
