I have installed windows 7 64 bit on my laptop and from the start it was slow and i couldn't play any games (not even cs 1.6, i dont need it for games its just an example how shitty it is), so i was thinking of upgrading it just a little bit to improve it, do you have any suggestions like buying more ram or ssd? I dont have the money to buy another one so im asking you guys what should i do, i use it for college (Mostly using CAD and Word but even this program is hard to use how slow it is, and PS in free time), I dont have much money to spend on him around $50~ i know its not much but i need to do something about him its driving me crazy, i dont mind buying used parts.

And should i switch to 32 bit version ?

That computer is really outdated, the easiest way for you to improve performance is by replacing the hard drive for a new Solid State Drive.

Who is him? Im confused. Also an SSD would speed up loading times, but thats it. It wont make stuff run faster, you need a new laptop. I know you dont want to hear it, cant afford it, but even with $500 there isnt much you can do to make that laptop better.

Laptop, I thought programs installed on ssd would run smoother/faster, im awere no matter how much i spend on laptop it would still be useless, but i just wanna be able to run chrome without freezing every time i open more than 5 tabs...

Yes the ssd makes loading times and windows to run faster and smoother. SSDs make your PC start up faster, and programs feel much more responsive. Programs can load data straight from an SSD without having to wait for a hard drive to spin up to speed, or for the read/write head to find the right sector on the platter.

SSDs have no moving parts, so they are impervious to the shocks that can damage hard drives when laptops are bumped around or even dropped. They also consume less power, which prolongs battery life.
$50 USD is not enough to buy an SSD for your laptop at least not new. You can always buy used ones from ebay but i wouldn't recommend it, (check the links below) for some examples.
