Camera Doesn't Function

I'm having camera issues with my RCA Voyager 7. Every time I go into the camera app (or a similar apps such as Snapchat) my tablet stops responding and restarts. It also kinda looks like there's some liquid in the camera...(I'm not sure if that's normal or not)... Does anyone know if there is an inexpensive way to fix it? Thank you in advance for your answers!

Liquid in the camera is definitely not normal. If that is the case, the camera may well be damaged. The only way to know for sure would be to take it apart and see if you can remove whatever is in there. If you cannot, then the camera itself may need replacing.
