right now i have a amd 8350 with 16 gb ram and amd r9 280. long story short, cat pee'd on my graphics card and now i have a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2. i'm looking to build a good pc around the graphis card, and leave the old pc intake for my gf, using a 1060 or somthing.

main goal is to play hct vive on epic lvl all games with a tv showing what the headset sees

heres what i am thinking:

GTX 1080 Ti (owned)
RYZEN 7 1700
looking at:
ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero?

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz?(G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz?)

EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 850W(any reason to go to EVGA SuperNOVA 850 T2, 80+ TITANIUM 850W for $60 more?)

Crucial MX300 525GB M.2 (Samsung 960 PRO Series - 512GB PCIe NVMe ?)

really looking recommendations here. especially motherboard/ram

Ah right, so good value and not too over the top.
I took one luxury here, which was the case.
It's the Be Quiet! Dark Base 900 Pro, which is the quietest case on the market with the quietest fans you can buy preinstalled with noise dampening foam, a tempered glass panel and wireless Qi charging built into the top.
The system is also SLI ready, so you can get a second 1080 Ti SC from EVGA for $699 if you want. :)
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($269.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H5 Universal 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($46.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus - STRIX X370-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard ($189.99 @ B&H)...

budget isn't really an issue. just might take a month to remove the 1080 ti from my current pc if it gets really pricey, but thats not a bad thing. if the bucks are worth it to spend im all for it, recommend your build off a 1080 ti and ryzen 1700
