Issue with Coolpad Torino S.
The touchscreen is not responding after waking up the phone. Buttons on the side are working, and everything seems fine, only touchscreen is not responding.
After reseting the whole phone everything is working fine, until the first time turning the screen off. After that, the touchscreen isn't responding at all again.
We tried turning it off, restarting, pulling the sim card outdoor, and factory reset, none od which worked.
It seems to be a software issue, because the touchscreen is working just fine after restart. Only the locking it for the first time makes it stop working.

Solution
Try restarting the device in "Safe Mode" and see if the problem goes away. If it does, one of your apps is the cause and you will need to figure out which one it is and remove it from the phone. If it still happens in "Safe Mode" then it may well be the connection to the display is loose. In such a case I would first ask if the phone is still under warranty, as if it is you would need to contact the manufacturer about any physical issue. However if it isn't under warranty, then you have the option to try and do the fix yourself or take it to a local tech.

First, however, start with the starting up the phone in "Safe Mode" and see if you can get the touch screen to work. NOTE: In "Safe Mode" many, if not most, apps you have installed...

First, however, start with the starting up the phone in "Safe Mode" and see if you can get the touch screen to work. NOTE: In "Safe Mode" many, if not most, apps you have installed will not work. The phone stops many things from working so you can check for issues. So you are just looking to see if the screen will work not if all the apps will.

To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.

1. First turn off the phone.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.
