Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a new budget gaming laptop, and I wanna choose between two laptops which are almost the same:

Acer Aspire VX5-591G-57HQ
Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBN

Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ
8 GB RAM DDR4-2133
256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD
39.6 cm (15.6") IPS 1920 x 1080 (Full HD),

the difference between those two laptops is the Graphic Card , in Acer it's nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 4gb and in Lenovo it's nVidia GeForce GTX 1050ti 2gb.

I know usually the 1050 ti is 10~15% better than the 1050 but that's the case with 1050ti with a 4GB of VRAM and not 2.

so my question is how important VRAM is when choosing between those two graphic cards.

I thank you in advance.

the 1050ti is way way more powerful than the 1050 not just by 10-15%.the 1050ti is capable of using more than 2gb vram and will still blow the 4gb 1050 out of the water eventhough it have 4gb vram, which in reality it wont be able to use all of the 4gb as it is not powerful enough to utilise all of the vram.so i would go for the 1050ti unless u are doing something that will need more video memory or using a 1440p monitor.funny how the vx5 here in my country actually shipped with 4gb variant of the 1050ti.
