The phone has a Sprint Voicemail app that keeps coming back as well as many other apps like the Sprint ID app and when I turn the phone on it says Sprint. In the about phone menu it says its a Sprint phone as well. Can i remove Sprint completely from my phone?

The only way to clear a branded phone of the built-in apps is to wipe it with a new ROM.

You'll need ta root it then put a Rom like LineageOs on it

How did you switch your sprint phone to straight talk no problem? I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge through sprint and can't figure out how to switch over. I already have service through straight talk and my phone was shattered last week. I have the Sim cards for straight talk through BYOP and need directions.

I did the same thing with my sprint note 5.
No idea how but they let me do it and I still owed money on the phone. However, also have a sprint 7 edge that they said I could switch. Confused also..
