Solved! Tried all fixes for RCA Pro 10 keyboard

I've tired all the suggested online fixes for the rca tablet keyboard in case fix including factory reset, playing with HDMI settings and displays settings with no luck. Does anyone have other ideas? The keyboards indicator still lights but the tablet stopped recognizing the keyboard randomly one day while typing. It worked again weeks later for an hour and hasn't since.

Have you tested the keyboard on any other devices? It may be the keyboard that is the problem and not the tablet.
