How do I delete previous owners iTunes account and reset to factory settings on first generation iPad?

The first gen iPad is not really useful, it will not be able to run the newer IOS version and therefore will not be able to easily install any programs from iTunes.

To reset it, just go to settings, general, you should see the reset options there.

Just restore the factory settings and your device will be refreshed. Then you can get your itunes account on it.
