ZTE not turning on or charging

ZTE avid trio powered off on its own and will not power on. It was just working. I bought it last night from Metro PCS. They didn't give me correct SIM card either. Will wrong sim card cause this to happen?

Take it back to Metro PCS and let them fix it.
