Whyvwon my apps transfer to sd card

My app cannot transfer from my external storage to my SD card my phone keep saying not enough space what do I do they used to transfer but now they won't transfer it all I did put a new memory card still won't transfer my phone keep saying apps can be transferred to SD card and they're still not transfering I only have 5 apps on my phone that I've downloaded and it's still saying no space please help ivr even deleted a lot of apps still can't transfer thanks in advance
