I am not able to do factory reset as per the instruction provided when I tried to get support form Samsung. Also not able to raise service request as its out of warranty or its not supported I guess. Please raise service request for the device. Please see below details for device.

I have own several Samsung devices including Samsung S2 (stopped after two years without warning), Samsung 4 K 50 inch TV, Samsung S7, Samsung fit 2. And I am willing to trust Samsung for its product but this is second incident with my Samsung devices after my Samsung s 2 stopped working in 2013. So please suggest as this issue caused by update and I am not getting any help from Samsung and don't want to loose my trust on Samsung brand.

Well a "Factory Reset" is one thing and then there is a "Hard Reset", which wipes all data. If you want to try the latter, I am including the instructions here.

However, in regard to service request, we can't make one for you. You are the only person who can do that.

NOTE: Doing this will clear 'all' the data on your tablet, so it is suggested you not choose this option unless you have to, or aren't worried about losing anything on the device.

Be sure you back up any data you want to keep, to a computer or cloud account, before doing the reset.

To "Hard Reset" the tablet...

1. Make sure that the tablet is actually powered off.

2. Remove your SD card, if there is one in the device.

3. Press the "Power" and the "Volume Up"...

9. If you took your SD card out in step 2, when the device is up and running again, reinsert the SD card.
