You can't just plug it into the laptop and get your texts and calls that way. You are going to have to either get the phone fixed or get a new phone.

The most you can do, via a computer, is to get data off the phone, so that you don't lose it. That is, if it will power on.

If the phone is still under warranty, then try contacting the manufacturer. They may repair or replace it at little or not cost to you.
