how to connet wifi device to router so that i can use internet through the wifi device

i have a wifi device but i want to connect to the router so that i can use internet from the the wifi device for wireless networking.

Depending on your phone, some steps will be a tad different.

1. Go into the phones "Settings".
2. Locate "WiFi" in settings and tap to turn it on. Some phones have a slider for it to turn on.
3. In the "WiFi" screen locate the network you are trying to connect to. If none show, do a search for networks.
4. Once you have located your network, tap it.
5. Here you will enter your password, if it is password locked. And It really should be if it is your own.
6. Tap OK and you should have a connection.
