How to find out who sent picture

I am trying to find out who sent me a picture i downloaded??

Well, if you downloaded it, then you have to have gotten it via email or mms. So who sent the message/mail? Unless you got it off a site, then no one sent it, but someone uploaded it.

Without knowing where the message or mail came from, you would be hard pressed to find out who sent it to you. While pictures have embedded data, that data doesn't include all the places it has been/come from.
