how do I fix my authienction problem on a samsung s2

can you please help me.My step -son gave me a samsung s2 . but before he did this he reset the phone back to factory and now I cant dowload or update bcause there is an authencation problem.what can I do

When he reset the device to factory settings, it's like it was when it came out of the box so it no longer has his, or any other, Google account to make it fly on the Net. You need to create an account or just a G-Mail address then go from the Apps button and find Play Store and log in to there for the first time. That should enable you to go on the Net if you're close to a WiFi facility.
