I recently brought a Samsung J5 and I brought a 16gb memory card but when I go to storage on the phone it shows the memory car

I have a Samsung J5 Android phone and it has 8gb of memory on it anyway but I purchased a 16gb Sd card which isn't picking up only the phone storage shows any suggeston

Well it may depend on the type of card. The GB of a card isn't the only thing thing has an effect. The speed of the card does as well. Not to mention that there are some really not so good brands out there. I would check with Samsung to see which is the best type of card for that device.
