I have a contract with Verizon that went way over the data overage and left me with a crazy Bill. I have a V10 from LG. Can I take this phone and get it on with Verizon prepaid?

You will still need to pay it off, you don't want to get into debt collection.
I doubt they would change it to prepaid until you paid it off

Hey man,
Did you try going to prepaid? I'm recently in a similar situation, and I was thinking about doing the same, but don't want to pay, and it doesn't work. I bet they keep track of the IMEI/serial number, but I'm not sure how locked down it is.
