My PC doesn't recognize the device, cell phone, Pantech Verizon to retrieve photos

Trying to retrieve photos from Verizon Pantech cell phone. I purchased cable but PC doesn't recognize device or even show it on the screen. Suggestions?

You can check the support pages for your specific phone http/www.verizonwireless.com/support/pantech/ There are different documentations about the models and connecting to a computer.

I have the same trouble. My workaround might sound stupid: I simply emailed the data to myself, retrieved on PC and then placed in the folders I wanted. Silly, I know... but I hope that helps.
